X-PIPS™ 7-Element SDD Array is a spectroscopy sub-system sensitive to X-rays and low-energy gamma rays. It comprises of seven Silicon Drift Detectors (SDD) with a low noise CMOS reset type preamplifier, a HV bias supply and a cryogenic cooler.
